Welcome to The Beauty Spot of Tampa. My name is Ruby, and I help clients enhance their natural beauty with personalized skincare and beauty treatments. I am passionate about the beauty industry and aim to create a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable and confident.

As a child, I dreamed of being a fashion designer but never learned to sew. After years of searching for my path, I remembered how much I loved playing “beauty salon” with friends, keeping client lists and schedules. That's when I realized my passion for the beauty industry. It's fun, creative, and always changing. I then began visiting cosmetology schools and chose the Aveda Institute of Tampa Bay in Clearwater, FL, where I graduated at the top of my class with my full specialist license.
I opened The Beauty Spot of Tampa in May 2021 and initially worked from home. After three years, the business has grown significantly, and I now have a suite in Seminole Heights, the neighborhood where I grew up. I hope The Beauty Spot will evolve beyond just me but will always be a welcoming place for clients to relax and feel beautiful. Helping clients look and feel their best truly brings me joy, and I look forward to meeting each of you.
